Happy Tuesday!

This Delightful Bowl Series has become a habit, a good habit! This week’s delightful bowl is brought to for breakfast or snacking purposes.  I have been hearing for weeks in my household about wanting a “pinkish purplish bowl.” I was like, “what is a pinkish purplish bowl?”  Y’all, I was so confused, that comment threw me for a loop. After further explanation from my 16-year-old, I come to find out that they were talking about dragon fruit.  What did she want me to do with this pinkish purplish fruit?  I will give you 1 guess, if you have teenage girls in your house then you know the answer. Eye roll (instead of a drum roll, haha!) please. They want to take pictures of this “pinkish purplish bowl” and make it Snapchat and Instagram worthy. OMG!! Teenagers!!  I finally granted that wish with one exception, they had to help me out from start to finish.

Dragonfruit Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients

½ cup almond milk
1 small container (4-5.3 oz) greek vanilla yogurt
1 medium banana, sliced and frozen
½ cup strawberry, sliced and frozen
1 package (12 oz) frozen dragonfruit bite-size cubes
Bananas, strawberries, blueberries, and chia seeds to garnish

Directions

In a high power blender or food processor, add all ingredients except for the garnish, and blend until combined. Divide between bowls and top with garnish. Instagram and Snapchat are optional.
